The May Edition of Skjaldtorg: Iceland’s Cybersecurity Meetup

We're excited to announce the third edition of Skjaldtorg: Iceland’s Cybersecurity Meetup, a community-driven forum for professionals leading cybersecurity efforts in their organizations.Skjaldtorg is about real conversations – no fluff, no sales pitches. Just practitioners discussing the practical challenges and emerging threats we all face in securing digital infrastructure. Whether you're managing risks in a growing SME, securing critical infrastructure, or leading response teams, this is your space to exchange ideas and learn from others in the field.

What's on the agenda?

This session features a sharp line-up of speakers, including members of the Icelandic team who participated in NATO’s recent Locked Shields cyber defense exercise. Attendees will hear practical insights from one of the world's most demanding cybersecurity simulations. And of course, what would a security meetup be without the real risk management tools: beer, chicken wings, and pizza. It’s a casual atmosphere – perfect for open dialogue and relaxed networking.‍
