Today, we’re excited to announce that we have successfully completed System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audit and are now certified.

This audit follows the SOC 2 Type I we completed in late 2024. In short, the Type I audits that our process and operations are in place, while the Type II verifies that we follow these blueprints day by day. While the theory behind such validation is simple, the practical implementation is more complicated.

How does this impact customers?

Completing an audit doesn't alter our company's daily operations or the way our systems function. Instead, it is a testament that our processes, both as documented and in practice, effectively safeguard our systems and customer data.

In practical terms, this means our team members are required to use multi-factor authentication (MFA), have restricted access to sensitive systems, and undergo regular access reviews to ensure only authorized individuals can access the right resources for legitimate purposes. We enforce code reviews and pull requests before any code is merged, and we rely on automated deployment processes. These best practices steps not only promote consistency and repeatability, but also reduce the risk of external tampering and common errors. 

Additionally, our comprehensive logging and alerting systems promptly detect anomalies and notify the appropriate personnel when action is needed. For a full overview of what was evaluated, any customer or prospect can request it via your Sales Rep or our Support associates.

At its core, SOC 2 Type II controls formalize many great and even best practices for designing and operating secure systems. This audit confirms that our actual practices align with these high standards, backed by the everyday use of appropriate security tooling such as password managers, MFA, endpoint protection, logging and monitoring, and access controls to keep those practices consistent at scale.
